County Council Principle Officer of Business Support services retires


After many years of service with Warwickshire County Council Roy Shearing, Principle Officer of Business Support services retired from "active duty"

Roy has been a stalwart of business support throughout Warwickshire for many years and ran the small business loans scheme for many years before joining CWRT both a s a Director and as a member of our lending committee.

We are delighted that Roy will remain with CWRT in both roles giving us the benefit of his experience for some time to come.

At Roy's leaving "do" he was presented with, amongst many other gifts, a fetching pair of Wellingtons which he modelled on the stairs at county hall as guests were regaled with tales (many of them unrepeatable)of his years of sterling service.

The Board of Directors, Lending Committee, Staff and Clients of CWRT wish Roy all the best for his retirement
