Coventry and Warwickshire Reinvestment Trust
C.W.R.T. is a Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) which uses a capital fund and surpluses generated from its activities to use as capital available to lend to businesses and social enterprises working in Coventry and Warwickshire to improve the life of local residents.
We do not offer grants but instead lend money to appropriate entities and, when it has been repaid, lend that same money again to keep a "revolving fund".
We are funded primarily by "The European Regional Development Fund" which is a European Union fund established to aid in the regeneration of areas in terms of employment, social enterprise and lifestyle.
