Coventry and Warwickshire Reinvestment Trust was first proposed by members of the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership in 2003 when it was recognised that the sub-region needed a source of ethical enterprise loans that would be able to lend to small businesses who were actively improving the region and assisting in the regeneration process.

Amazon Initiatives is an enterprise support organiszation for women aspiring to or already engaged in enterprise activities. All their provision can be accessed by such women. They are a local initiative with a community focus, with the vision to fully involve the community and eventually to be run by the community for the community. Coventry City Council provide a wealth of resources to small business assisting hem in finding premises, grant funding and other areas where support is needed. "We are committed to supporting businesses and offer a wide range of practical help and advice. The Princes Trust help young people start businesses throughout the country and provide mentoring and other business support to their clients.
