Meet Mari Carmen - a founder of Mari-Carmen Fitness, she is a personal trainer that specialises in antenatal and post-natal physical and mental well-being. Among other qualifications, she has a background in Pediatric Nursing and as a mother of two, strives to empower mums to reach their Fitness, Health, and Wellness goals.
Tell us about your business.
"Our mission is to improve mum’s well-being by providing highly specialised and customised fitness and nutrition services. As a mum myself, I know how challenging it is to meet your goals, that’s why I have created my programmes with a sustainable approach. This way, mums can implement healthy new habits without causing disruption to their routines. I love what I do and love seeing my clients become more confident, healthier, and happier."
Mari, how did CWRT help your business?
We received a loan from Warwickshire County Council’s LCE Fund which is managed by CWRT. Tracy, one of the loan officers, discussed our options and recommended the LCE fund. Tracy has been very helpful and supported us throughout the application process, which we are very grateful for. We are using the loan to improve our digital presence and gain a wider reach. We want to help as many mums as we can and having a better online presence will mean even more mums can access our support.
