WHAT WE
DO.
The Coventry and Warwickshire Reinvestment Trust (CWRT) is a not-for-profit, FCA accredited, specialist finance and business support provider committed to supporting businesses and individuals primarily based in Coventry and Warwickshire.
We are trusted experts and an ethical lender that offers a personal touch through our dedicated loan and business support packages that are specifically designed to support pre-starts and SMEs to start up, become sustainable and to grow.
Since 2010, after receiving capital to on-lend from various organisations including the European Regional Development Fund, Coventry City Council, Warwickshire County Council, and Unity Trust Bank, CWRT has loaned £23million to individuals, start-ups and existing businesses in Coventry and Warwickshire and surrounding areas that have had difficulty in raising finance elsewhere.
CWRT’s services are designed to fill the gaps in mainstream lending, address market failures and to offer affordable alternatives to high interest doorstep lenders.
CWRT is committed to supporting entrepreneurship and jobs in communities under-served by mainstream providers. We do this by channelling investment into traditionally overlooked businesses, helping them to rebuild, adapt, diversify, and add new employment in the months to come.
CWRT, as a Community Development Finance Institution, is devoted to tackling local disparity in the market by offering dedicated loan and business support packages specifically designed to support these SMEs through volatile markets and tightening credit conditions. Our aim is to enable businesses to become sustainable, to proposer and to contribute to the local economy.

The FairLife Charity is raising standards in finance with a fair trading mark and improving financial education. The charity awards its trademark logo - The FairLife Mark - to companies that price honestly and trade fairly with their customers. This will ultimately help you to choose what you need with confidence, by making products better and easier to understand. Revenue raised by the charity funds financial education in schools, giving our children the knowledge they need to make good financial decisions throughout their lives.
