About CWRT

Since 2010, CWRT has loaned over £37.4 million to local businesses, helping entrepreneurs and SMEs who've been overlooked by traditional lenders to start up, grow and thrive.

What We Do

We fill the gaps left by mainstream lending, offering affordable and accessible finance to businesses that deserve a chance to succeed.

We support:

  • Pre-start businesses and entrepreneurs with great ideas

  • Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to grow

  • Businesses that have been turned down by high street banks

  • Social enterprises and community-focused organisations

  • Businesses in underserved communities across our region

Our current funding partners include:

  • British Business Bank

  • Coventry City Council

  • Warwickshire County Council

This enables us to provide flexible, affordable alternatives to high-interest lenders and support businesses through volatile markets and tightening credit conditions.
